Photos that make you feel. That is my goal for you. Your fleeting moments are memories that I vow to capture in the most authentic way. Your moments and milestones are to be artistically documented to remind you of the moments and emotions you had during the photo. That is my ultimate goal.
THE EXPERIENCE
I will always focus on your experience with me. You deserve to be captured in a raw and candid way that captures your soul, not just staged moments throughout the day. I do my absolute best to know my clients well enough so that we are all comfortable with one another. If you think about it, your photographer is there for you almost the entire day. You want them to be able to make you two, your families, and your friends comfortable enough to allow all of your personalities shine through in your photos for decades to follow. One thing that is for sure is that I value trust. Creating relationships built upon trust and respect will always ensure that your photos will show the emotional truth of how your day unfolded. Your photos will show the vulnerable, imperfect, and core memories throughout your gallery. Although I specialize in a documentary style approach, I would like to think that I am also there to celebrate with you and your families. You will always catch me joking around with your bridal party, even helping them out with whatever they need, as well as help you without hesitation. You can see me helping your carry your veil, your bouquet, all the way to the having fun on the dance floor with you and your besties.
THE PROCESS
I am incredibly drawn to storytelling and energy. I will always prioritize the momentary and fleeting moments within your day, along with subtle direction. I take pride in the art of noticing all of those around me. I would rather have you and your mom sit together and have a moment with one another, instead of rushing you into a staged moment while I show the mother of the groom a photo of her son that I just took. Moments like these are what allow emotions to come through, and that is a priority to me. I personally ensure that each couple I work with has enough room within their timeline to remain present throughout their day. If you are a bride or groom who does not want to jump from staged moment to another, then I am your gal. I personally work best within realistic timelines that allow more time for creativity and documentary approaches. This alone establishes a stress-free environment for all parties, with an emphasis on you, my couple. Feel free to ditch whatever you may believe are rules doing your day. I often have brides who will reach out saying that they would much rather have me capture their bridal party in organic moments, as well as their portraits throughout their day.
