ABOUT ME

My name is Alexandra, although I typically go by Alex. First of all, I am so grateful that you are even here, you two must really be in love! I know that looking for a photographer that suits your style and meshes with your family members can be hard to find. It might be even a little intimidating to meet with a stranger who is taking your photos that you’ll have for a lifetime, so here is a little more about me.

I am one who is inspired my cinematic moments, film, and adventures. You can find me walking and running on a trail, practicing yoga, and probably juicing. I find so much joy in practicing a holistic lifestyle and exploring new places. I'm heavily inspired by the outdoors and the world around us. I will always stop to admire the moon, the birds singing, and the butterflies that are flying around me as I explore.

I would describe my style as natural. I prefer candid photos over stiff poses, meaning I will guide you through my vision and help you feel comfortable, while also maintaining your natural elements. I adore earthy tones and love natural lighting. I am a total goofball and I love getting you and your loved ones to laugh and smile while capturing those special moments forever. In fact, laughter shots are my absolute favorite. I lean towards a very documentary style of photography because it allows me to capture you for exactly who you are. I am always prompting you to do something different in order to create movement and emotion within your session. My goal is to take you back to that exact day and moment the second you look back at your photos from our sessions together. You deserve to be documented. Not just photographed, although yes, that is why you are here.

I am always willing to travel, as though I currently work out of the Metro-Detroit and Northwest Ohio areas, so that I am able to be there for you and your biggest moments in life.
